You have to seek after God. 

Resolve-Strong determination to do something. Decide.  To rule over your own flesh, your own mind. Settle it.  Sometimes you are your greatest enemy.

1 King 19:20

And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, “Let me kiss my father and my mothe, and then I will follow you.”  And he sid to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?”  Too late to turn back.

1. The Call of Elijah

Make your mind up what kind of life are you going to live?

Matt 8:18-28 Now, when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, he gave orders to go to over to the other side.

Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.  ”  Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 10:1-3 When God speaks, Listen

After this the Lord appointed seventy two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he was about to go.  2) and hre said to them, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.  3)Go your way: behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the mist of wolves.

(He sends us forth surroiunded by the Holy Spirit and Heaven’s Armies)

2 King 3:10-11  Then the king of Israel said, Alas! The Lord has called these three KIngs to give them into the hand of Moab,”

1. And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there no prophet of the Lord here, through whom we may inquire of the Lord?”  Then one of the kings of Israel’s servants answered, Elisha the son of shaphat , is here who poured water on the hand of ELijah.

WE MUST LEARN TO FOLLOW THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1.  JUST DO IT GODS WAY

2. LEARN TO WAIT , WHEN HE SAYS IT IS TIME, GO FORWARD

3.  KEEP YOUR HEART OPEN TO THE VICE

4.  BE STEADFAST IN YOUR FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD

ARE YOU OPEN  AND READY FOR THE MANTLE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE??

Luke 10:1-3  After this the Lord appointed seventy two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two.  “Go your way; behold I am sending you out.”  God gives the call to our lives ( a mantle is not ours for the choosing.  It is determined ahead by God.)

2 Kings 3:11 Elisha and Eligjah (a season of training to wait and follow.)

Look at 2 Kings 2:12-13  Look at Joseph (Let’s look at the favor he had with his earthly father-coat of many colors.

God is bigger than your struggles.   You cannot figure out what God will do next.  Let the Holy Spirit guide and direct your life. God lifts your burdens. Let God take over. Be careful whose side you are on. He goes before you.  He keeps His promises.

Romans 8:25  Comfort through the storm, we must be persistent in our beliefs. (A feeling of certainty that something is true, or a conviction that someone or something is trustworthy or exists (belief can be religious or political. Trust, faith or confidence that’s a must)If you have full trust in Jesus, you should be resting through life’s storms (the word patience is perserverence)

God plants you where He wants you. 

The Greek word for patience-perserverence is derived from two words (remaining and behind).  When we don’t see what we are hoping for, we remain behind.

Romans 8:26-27 You have to let Him help you.  Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  For we do not know what to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.

Zechariah 12:10 This verse is so deep only the Spirit of God can speak to the heart of the Father about.

Colossians 1:4-5

4- Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of love that you have for all the saints.

5- Because of the hope laid up for you in Heaven.  Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel. 

Hope  is the forerunner to faith and love.  Be patient and rejoice in what you have.

SO HOW DO WE GET TO THAT PLACE IN GOD?

1.  Set a goal. Setting a goal is the process of deciding what you want to achieve, taking a step to moving forward for the kingdom of God.

2.  Dive into your goal, with the help of the Holy Spirit.  He will show you, and lead you in the path you must take.

3.  Remember His ways are higher than ours.

4.  Psalm 43:3-5 Send our your light and your truths let them lead me.

5.  Why are you cast down O my soul?

And why are you in turmoil within me?

Hope in God: for I shall prise Him,

My salvation and my God.

RESTORING HOPE BACK TO THE BODY OF CHRIST IN UNITY

Becasue Hope, Faith, Trust, Love is the only thing that cxan heal our nation and the world.  It’s going to take God’s grace and mercy to help us all.

1. Luke 21:36- Be attentive. Don’t stick your head in the sand.

2.  Luke 21:34-God doesn’t want your heart weighed down. God rules in the kingdom of men. Only you can take yourself out of the hand of God.

3.  Luke 21:19- Be patient. “I’m gonna make it through this.”

4.  Luke 21:15-I will give you a mouth and wisdom which none of your adversarie will be able to withstand or contradict.

5.  Luke 21:33- Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My Word will not pass away.

6.  Luke 21:25-27- Greater is He that is in you.

7.  Luke 21:17- You will  be hated by all for my Name’s sake.

9.  Luke 21:9-10- It’s not over yet.  We will be tested.

12. Luke 21:8-Be careful that you are not led astray.  False prophets will come. Don’t relocate yourself.

The Holy Spirit is speaking to te church, it’s time for us to share the love of Jesus and remember that we are the church of the Living God.  We must be attentive and ready for what the spirit would have us do.  If you have a servant’s heart, you will be willing to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit because we know that Jesus is coming soon.

2 Chron 20:1-4 If we ever needed to pray, it is now.  If we don’t pray, God doesn’t answer, The power of prayer will bring you reform. Trust God.  He’s got it. Just pray. The battle is not yours, it’s God’s. Listen to God. He’s got you covered. Jehosaphat prayed. God told him where his enemies were. Revealed his enemies.  When you serve the Lord, He gives you discernment.

Numbers 13:30  Let us go up! We are well able.

Phil 1:1-14 I want My people to pray. God is the God of now.Yesterday, tomorrow , now-God is the same.

Reform:  Make changes in (something typically political or economic institution) in order to improve it.

An opportunity to reform and restructure for the better. Amen. TO become better or make something better by making correction or removing  faults. 

Leviticus 26:20-23

Help us Lord to follow you and You alone.

The Power of Prayer:

1. Do not be afraid.

2. Do not be discouraged.

3. You must see through the eyes of Faith-don’t worry about the vast army or what you see and hear.

4. the battle is not yours but the Lord’s..

5.  Take a step of faith.

6. Take up your position for what God has promised in his Word (He is for you not against you.)

7. Stand firm, strong and see your victory.

8. Jehosaphat bowed down to the greatness of a God who CAN. 

9. Bow down-cry out to God . Worship Him .Learn the power in prayer.

2 Timothy 2:3-19, 2 Timothy 2:1-18 

Qualities of a true soldier of the Lord:

1. Dedication- to the cause of Christ (Loyalty)

2. Durability- not easily discouraged-prepared for conflict.

3. Patient with difficult people-instructing those who oppose the truth. 2 Timothy 2:3-4 Endure hardships as a good soldier. 

4. Learn to endure warfare for the cause of Christ-follow Him in the fight.

God is pleased with us, when we follow the leading of His Holy Spirit. 

2 Peter 3:9 We must live out what we believe (We cannot waiver in what God’s Word says. His Word is truth. )

Romans 12:2 The soldier goes through training. A warrior goes through transformation. We learn from experiences of others as well as our own.

We have a reason to bow our knees.

Eph. 3:14-16

Gen 1:26 Then God said-He spoke and it was so.

We have to be willing to listen. God created you for a purpose. Time for the church to wake up. Your life is not your own.  Talk to God.

Ps 139: 1-24 God is all knowing, all powerful, all present, perfectly good, Holy, loving.

Numbers 14:17-20 We have a purpose and a plan. Your life belongs to God.

1.  God is patient.

2. God’s love is one promise we can count on.

3. God forgives over and over again.

4. God is merciful-His ear is always listening.

5. Look at  Moses as he pleads with God for others.  He reveals the characteristics of God.

Luke 12:46 God will make a way.  Who do we belong to?

Jesus said from everyone whohas been given much, much will be required.

Rev. 4:11 We exist because of God’s will and purpose.

Ex 40:16 Moses did everything just as God said.

Ps. 119:5 God’s will is for His glory not  our personal satisfaction, success or pleasure. 

Eph. 1:5, Eph 1:9 He purposed in Christ. God the father.

Colossians 1:9-11 Confidence as we receive an understanding of God.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity, amen.

2 Peter 1:5 for this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virture. verse 5:8 for if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you fom being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

John 15:2 Every branch in me that does not bear, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. verse 4:5 I am , verse 6-7 If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and was God.

Hebrews 1:3 he is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature and He upholds after making purification for sin. He sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.

Verse 4- having become as much superior to the angels as the name he has inheritied is more excellent than theirs. Verse 5-14 Read it for yourself.

Proverbs 9:10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is insight. Isaiah 1:3 the ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know , my people do not understand. Read for yourself verses 4-31 Isa. 2:1-2 Praise God.

Psalm 119:11-16 I will.

Col 1:10 so as we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God Verse 11 Read it together.

2 TIm 2:15 What does it mean to approach God?

Ephesians 3:12 In Him and through faith in Him we may approach Him with freedom and confidence.

Study to show yourself approved. Speak the Word.

Ephesians 1:5-8 Reminds us of the truth: God in advance to adopt us into His family through His son Jesus Christ. By His glorious grace He has poured out on us.

God wants you to advance.With confidence draw near the throne. Ephesians 3:14-20 Hebrews 4:15-16

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us. To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.

Be rooted and grounded in love.

Romans 16:25-27 to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. Jude 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumblingand to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.
